Frequently asked questions

How does Dayterra count my days?

With location access, the app records which country you are in each day. You can also import past trips from the location data in your photos and add or edit stays by hand.

Why does Dayterra ask for "Always" location?

So it can record border crossings while the app is closed. Without it, days are only recorded when you open the app. Your location is never sent to our servers.

Is my data private?

Your travel records stay on your device and in your private iCloud. Read our Privacy Policy.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Dayterra, and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or the current period ends to avoid being charged. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

I changed phone. How do I get my subscription and data back?

Sign in with the same Apple Account and iCloud, open Dayterra and tap Restore on the paywall. Your records sync back from iCloud.

How do I delete my data?

In the app, go to You → Data & Sync → Delete All App Data.
